How GetDotNetCode Memberships Work

This page explains how GetDotNetCode memberships work. When you purchase a membership the money you spend is put into a membership account in your name. After you purchase a membership you use your membership account to pay for orders, not PayPal. To use your membership to you begin by picking the GetDotNetCode items you need into a shopping cart. As you pick into your shopping cart you see a screen like this: The example above shows a shopping cart for a new Silver member. A customer purchased a Silver membership for $99; their membership account is credited with $100. At the top of the shopping cart page the items in the shopping cart are listed with their retail prices. This is all non-members see. Below the items a member sees the Member Checkout section of the shopping cart.  The Member Checkout section shows: 1. Total retail price of the items in the shopping cart. 2. The membership discount that will be given if the member accepts the shopping cart. The example above shows a 60% discount for a Silver member. 3. Member cost which is the retail total minus the membership discount. 4. Membership balance before the shopping cart is accepted. 5. Membership balance if the shopping cart is accepted. 6. Accept button which is used to accept the shopping cart. Accepting the shopping cart adds the items in the shopping cart to the members download page.
